For most Americans the only visible terror fatalities among the thousands that occurred on this day in 2001 were those of the persons trapped in the World Trade Center Towers who fell or jumped to their deaths outside the burning buildings to escape the hellish conditions inside.
Those souls who probably made the desperate and definitive decision to bring to an end their lives in a short and solo plummet to the street below also did so in a very public manner. Everything that happened that day including this became part of history.
This program is about them and also about why the media has decided to ignore these people and their acts from the historical retelling of this horrible and criminal attack upon the country.

I will never forget what happened, and I will never forgive those that were responsible. I never want to feel OK with this, it should always strike a raw nerve and leave me angry. Healing should never require forgetting.
Why has mass media decided not to run these pictures or video again? Why has this become “unhistory”? Is it because it makes many of us uncomfortable? It’s my personal opinion that suffocating from smoke or being burned alive would be even more uncomfortable.
If you think the current day coverage is too watered down and sanitized, then you probably should watch this program. Just say NO to memory holes.
