Drone is the name of a 2014 documentary film I recently watched on Netflix. It covers the the human toll on the ground in Pakistan as well as interviews with two former US Air Force drone pilots.
Both the changes in technology as well as how this has changed aspects of warfare are discussed in this thought provoking film. I’d rate it 3.5 out of 5 stars.

If you have an Android phone or tablet with NFC, and launch the Android Pay app, you might just see this message informing you of a promotion that’s running for some US residing users in February.
Basically it says if you use Android Pay 10 times during the month, you will receive credits for various rewards from the Google Play and Google Store. In my case it’s free songs and a Chromecast for reaching 10 transactions with Android Pay.
Seems this offer isn’t made to everyone, but if you have a phone or tablet with Near Field Communication (NFC) support you can always install the app, fire it up, and see what happens. After I agreed to the promotion’s rules, it placed a card into my Android Pay wallet, alongside my existing credit and loyalty program cards. This card will track the number of purchases made and indicate my progress towards the goals.
I must have totally missed the stories in the media about this earlier in mid January, but I searched for them to make sure this was legit, and found out that it is.
Previously I’ve used NFC on my Nexus 5 and Nexus 6 to pay at Walgreens and at Macy’s. I just checked the list of merchants accept Android Pay and will post back to this blog on how it goes for me.
I used Android Pay this morning at McDonald’s to pay for my breakfast, and earned my first reward, a song of my choice from Google Play Music.
